If you are just purchasing a SDS Plus bit type rotary hammer drill this is an excellent bit set to get going with. The situation is metal so it will last forever so when a bit wears out you can just get a new bit for that case.

I purchase these bits about 12 years ago. These bits are well made and are fine if you prefer a starter set. More often than not I personally use them for a back-up set. The bits are extremely short for most of my drilling applications and that i usually purchase individual bits for the jobs I'm working on. It is good for a starter set and you can decide afterwards which bits you'll need and just how long.

I bought this set some time back and it is an excellent set of SDS bits and the price is right. I do not use SDS every single day, but use them a great bit and they haven't dulled and believe it or not, i have not lost one yet. good deal.
They do what they're designed to do

What's there to say of these?.. If you put them in a Bosch "Bulldog" rotary hammer, they go through concrete just like a hot knife through butter. If you don't really are a using these professionally, it seems unlikely that you would ever exhaust them. I can't detect any wear on the carbide tips about any of mine except for some minor wear on the larger one (not part of this set) that has about 100 6" deep holes on it.

Very handy storage box which I'll restock w/replacement bits of the same size when originals wear out. Wish bits were longer but their quality seems great.
